With this project it was aimed to give a decisive step towards the putting in value and sustainable management of mycological resources of the territories of Salmantino West, consolidating the implantation of an integrated system, which goes from the rational advantage of the resources and its future conservation, to its final commercialization and its entailment with economic activities.

All this, in order to satisfy the most exigent demands in quality, differentiation and nourishing security, and to contribute to the rural development of the West of Salamanca.

Since the year of 2005 it have been developed the projects “Mycology and Quality” and “Mycological Resources and Rural Development” in the West territories of Salamanca. With these projects it is aimed to give a decisive step towards the putting in value and sustainable management of the mycological resources in the salmantino west.
